About the conference
The Third International Forum on Heat Transfer (IFHT2012) is organized by the Heat Transfer Society of Japan (HTSJ), which is one of the world-largest and most active heat transfer societies, to seek new paradigm by inviting leading scientists and engineers from all over the world. The IFHT was started in Kyoto 2004, and then the second IFHT was held in Tokyo 2008 with approximately 150 presentations and 200 participants, where the fusion of nano-, micro- and bio-technologies with heat transfer science was selected as the main theme.
The third IFHT to be held during November 13-15, 2012 in Nagasaki focuses upon heat and mass transfer for green technologies, and world-prominent scientists are invited to deliver keynote lectures. General contributed papers are also invited in all area of heat and mass transfer. The organizing committee encourages prospective authors to actively participate in this international gathering. The first Shiro Nukiyama Memorial Award will be presented during IFHT2012.
