CONFERENCE OUTLINE
The international conference will welcome participants and professionals dedicated to theories, experiments, simulations and applied aspects on the heat transfer and fluid flow in small scale including various phenomena in micro/nano scale. The 1st conference was held in Banff, Canada in 2000, followed by the 2nd in Lucca, Italy in 2005, then by Whistler, Canada in 2008 and finally in Fukuoka, Japan in 2011. The 5th conference will be organized in oral plenary sessions including keynotes presented by prominent researchers.
SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE
To disseminate and exchange fundamental and applied research on heat transfer and fluid flow at micro/nanoscale levels. Papers related to single phase, flow boiling and condensation, micro/nanofluidics, instrumentation and control, fuel cells, and various applications including biomedical, MEMS devices, micro heat transfer devices will be considered for the conference.
The following list of topics illustrates the scope of the conference.
• Single-phase convective transfer and fluid flow
• Flow boiling/condensation
• Two-phase flow and flow regimes
• Phase change in micro/nanoscale
• Micro/nanofluidics
• Micro/nano heat transport devices
• Micro/nanoscale phenomena
• Measurement techniques
• Numerical simulation and modeling
• Fuel cell and hydrogen energy
• Applications and others
